The Richmond International Fund is a US dollar denominated fund of hedge funds, which invests in a selection of hand-picked hedge funds currently included in, or approved to be included in, SFG's hedge fund portfolio.
The Fund has been designed to try to deliver positive returns in rising markets while preserving capital in falling markets, and it aims (but does not guarantee) to produce positive returns regardless of market conditions and directions, over a rolling three to five year timeframe.
The Fund is based on the hedge funds in, or approved for inclusion in, SFG's portfolio. The Fund invests with a selection of the hedge funds currently included in, or approved to be included in, SFG's hedge fund portfolio by investing on the back of SFG's own investments in, and relationships with, the relevant fund managers. Richmond believes these funds are some of the most accomplished and sought-after in the world and are typically only accessible to institutional or super high net worth individuals.
SFG manages its own investment portfolio using processes which it has developed and refined over more than 18 years. The Fund will be able to take advantage of these processes by only investing in those hedge funds which have gone through SFG's processes.
