Warren Couillault

Director, CEO


Warren has more than 20 years experience in financial markets. From 1993 to 2002, he was with two sharebroking firms, working in research and sales roles in Auckland, Sydney and London.  He moved back to New Zealand in 2002 to join a boutique funds manager. Warren’s primary responsibility was the performance of its various NZ investment portfolios. He was a shareholder, director and Chief Investment Officer at the time he left the company in early 2008. Since then Warren has focused on selective private, direct investments. Warren is responsible for overseeing all of Richmond’s funds and portfolios.

 

Berridge Spencer

Director


Berridge Spencer is Managing Director of the Spencer Family Group, responsible for its overall investment strategy and asset allocation, with specific responsibility for its hedge fund portfolios. Before assuming that position in 2000, Berridge worked in the USA with one of the most highly regarded hedge funds, Moore Capital Management (a global macro fund). He then moved to a role with Coast Asset Management, a fixed income arbitrage fund.  Berridge graduated from Sydney University with honours in 1992.  Berridge provides investment advice on all Richmond’s hedge-fund investments and portfolios.

 

Alex Peterson

General Manager


Alex Peterson has worked across a wide selection of financial service firms in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.  These include: ANZ Institutional and Corporate Banking, Spicers Wealth Management, Baker Tilly Corporate Finance, and UBS.  Alex brings a rich set of skills to the team from working in analyst, corporate finance and information management roles.  Alex graduated from the University of Otago with a joint honours degree in Economics and Finance. Alex is responsible for the day to day operations of Richmond’s funds and portfolios, and provides analyst support where required.
